The pair originally met while filming Green Lantern in 2010, and after 11 years of marriage and four children, they are still madly in love. As reported by Entertainment Tonight, Blake Lively had arrived for the premiere of her romantic comedy-drama film Café Society in 2016. While on the red carpet, she was asked whether she was aware of her husband’s hilarious Twitter handle. Responding to this question, she joked that her husband is “pretty funny” and “the things he says” about their daughters are at the top of the sarcasm pyramid. However, in addition to her jibes and trolling, the actress has repeatedly demonstrated her great affection for the actor.

The Deadpool actor may have earned the 36th American Cinematheque Award in 2022, but his wife stole the show with her speech. When Blake Lively entered the stage to pay a poignant tribute to Ryan Reynolds, she set the bar a bit too high. She opened her statement by thanking the actor’s home country for shaping him into the conscientious actor he is now and further said that she is now his home and “his daughters are his home.” 

Blake Lively’s emotional speech had everyone looking for tissues. But much like their online snides, if Lively can pull a two-hand stand, Reynolds can pull one with just a finger. Therefore, he did not back down, even in unleashing his emotional side.

It was a family affair on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2016, when the Deadpool actor was being honored with his star. The actress sat in the first row with her then-two-year-old daughter James and their infant daughter Inez. The actor ascended to the stage and said that his wife was the “best thing” that ever happened to him and further joked that second only “to the star.” He also stated that she made him the father of his dreams when he only thought he had “fun uncle” potential.

After a while, Lively, dressed in a gorgeous blue gown, joined him on stage. Surprisingly, this was also the first time the entire family was photographed together. Indeed, all of these scenes brilliantly portray the actor’s love and adoration for his wife and children. It has been seven years since the awards, and the couple has welcomed two more children, yet the love remains constant.
