The Royal Family Pushed “Meghan Markle to a Point…”, BBC Journalist Made Huge Claims on Debate Night
The UK’s royal family is all set to enter a new era under King Charles’ reign. However, it seems like nationalists have still not been able to recover from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle controversies since the Megxit. Various polls and surveys have clearly proved the kingdom’s indifference to Monarchy. Meanwhile, news media and paparazzi had also chipped in their two cents on the same, on national broadcasts.
Out of them all, BBC, which has been a trusted publication of the royals since time immemorial, has also got journalists slamming the royal family or so proven by the video footage.

The publication once again had a debate night on the Royals. This time, journalist Ash Sarkar had come to make striking remarks against the imperial family of Great Britain. The report goes on to claim on national television, “Whatever the way you slice it, the Monarchy is neither a fair nor representative institution”. The slew of revelations from the past few days in Prince Harry’s vs Mudorch court case have been quite appalling in respect to the royals.
Recalling the same, Sarkar claimed that the royal family has revealed itself to be a “cartel of some very weird people”. And the more the press intrusion they invite themselves for, the less the people are inclined to support them. And in the process of the same, all they do is try to keep themselves relevant as “a political national institution or some old school celebrities”.
Adding to it further was a discussion about the estranged Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle. While the rivalry between the Sussexes and the Windsors is not unknown, the journalist pressed on, navigating further into the depths of the royal fallout.

The speaker channeled how Markle’s controversies have been one of the prime reasons the youngsters in the nation feel disconnected from the royal family. Sarkar is under the opinion that Meghan Markle ”ended up being pushed to the point where she went to the US”. And the reason backing that step was the family’s inability to welcome someone of color into the royal premises.

This particular dispute reportedly, “does fly in the face of what a lot of Gen Z and millennials value,” said the journalist. The core principles of the evolving generation have been to believe in diversity, inclusion, and social equality. And the royal family has clearly failed to stand up to the expectations of the youngsters in modern times.
