“The right” Move by Prince Harry Has Left King Charles “delighted”
The enthusiasm surrounding King Charles III’s coronation is still fresh. Today, the BBC released an official portrait of the King with his future heirs. The coronation ceremony was an exquisite affair and had people from all corners of the world in their presence. Every day, there is a new behind the scene of ceremony that royal fans wait eagerly for. Ever since the coronation date for King Charles came out, everyone wondered who will mark his presence at the traditional ceremony. But mostly, the speculations were about the King’s younger son and his daughter-in-law.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their official duties in back in 2020. Ever since then, the royal couple has been staying in the United States. Royal fans and media wanted answers about their attendance once the invitations rolled out and seems like Prince Harry made ‘the right’ move.
King Charles is ‘delighted’ by Prince Harry’s coronation attendance

Prince Harry went solo to the coronation of his father as Markle stayed in the States for Archie’s fourth birthday. The former secretary of Charles’ and his sons, Collen Harris shared with PEOPLE, that the King was ‘delighted’ to see his son attend his coronation. She also added that not attending the ceremony would have led to a personal regret for the Prince and he did “the right” thing.
On the contrary, royal expert, Christopher Anderson that the King was rather ‘relived’ than ‘delighted’ to see the Duke attend the ceremony as quoted by Fox News. Not attending the coronation would have sparked more rumors about the differences between the royals and the Sussexes.

At the coronation, Prince Harry was not bestowed with any official duty. He also sat two rows behind his elder brother, Prince William. In the pictures, he was seen happily chatting with his cousins Princess Beatrice and Princes Eugene, along with their husbands. Post the ceremony, the Prince was seen leaving immediately and missed the appearance at the Buckingham Palace balcony to be with his son in the States.

The coronation ceremony had many firsts this year, like the first female sword bearer in history. The ceremony was attended by 2200 guests. To mark the celebration, a coronation concert was also organized that featured artists from all spheres.
