Former American actress Meghan Markle and the military royal Prince Harry have long been pioneers of social justice and welfare. Although Markle tread into the royal waters having sacrificed enough, one thing she did not let go of was her feminist virtue and the will to make the world a better place for mankind. The South African activist spent his entire life mending others’ lifestyle to the best of his abilities. And now the couple who take a horde of inspiration from the icon have strived to walk along with his footsteps. Last year around this time, Meghan Markle and husband, Prince Harry, arrived at the prestigious United Nations to pay a tribute to their idol, Nelson Mandela.

Meghan Markle stepped back as Prince Harry took the lead. Together, at the helm, the British royal marked Mandela’s birth anniversary by preaching his best peace ideologies. He referred to his “vision of a freer, more peaceful world” as he delivered a remarkable speech at the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Termed “The Power of Hope” the speech addressed keynotes in the face of climate change, war, and other issues. However, this was not the first time Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made Nelson Mandela’s legacy as their “lifeboat“.

Back in the same year 2022, following the Netflix bombshell, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle launched yet another docuseries. However, the second time did not create a ruckus all over the internet with relentless excavation of controversies and backlashes.
Live to lead, which landed right after Harry & Meghan took the internet by a storm, put the spotlight on seven prominent leaders of the world who’ve dedicated their lives to social justice. New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg (in one of her final interviews), political activist Gloria Steinem took the helm. Together they shared the magic that peace, equality, compassion and mutual respect hold for the betterment of humankind.
