Cristin Milioti was one of the sea of Tinseltown stars who stepped out on the red carpet at the 2025 SAG Awards to spill some showbiz beans. Deadline approached the actor, who has been celebrated a lot lately following her breakout role as Sofia Falcone in The Penguin, asking about her experience auditioning for the role of Elphaba in Wicked. While the viewers were already caught a little off-guard, Milioti did not mince words, admitting she “did a really bad job at it.”

As the host struggled to believe her, Milioti revealed about a “big famous note” in Wicked that she was far from hitting. However, she praised the director, Jon M. Chu, for being absolutely “kind” about it. Upon being asked whether she would like to return to Wicked in future installments if an opportunity arose, Milioti nodded in agreement without a second thought, potentially keeping the door open for future slots in a different role.

If showbiz rebirth is a thing, Cristin Milioti is the guru. After being deemed as the most formidable Batman villain of all time, The Penguin wrapped up the season finale with Sophia Falcone receiving a letter from her half-sister, Selina Kyle aka Catwoman. Fans have wondered since then if Falcone and Kyle would cross paths on the screen. And Deadline recently caught up with Milioti at the Film Independent Spirit Awards to echo fans’ desires by pitching the idea of a team-up with Zoë Kravitz in The Batman II.

“I would love that,” Milioti said. While she thinks she and Kravitz would be a DC force to reckon with if such an opportunity turns up that Milioti’s Sophia Falcone and the latter’s Selina Kyle pair in The Batman II, she was also quite sure they could really “get into some sh--.” Although fans were already on cloud nine, just dreaming about the possibility, following Milioti’s Wicked teasers, now they have more than one thing to watch out for.
