The One Thing Henry Cavill Does Not Like About the ‘Guardian Of His Soul’, Kal
Henry Cavill has saved several lives on the screen playing iconic roles like Superman and Geralt. However, in real life, the actor himself believes not all heroes wear capes, some just have furry paws. He has talked about his dog Kal in many interviews and how important he has been in his life. For the British superstar, his canine companion has been a savior who preserved his mental health during the most traumatic phases of life. Despite sharing a close bond with his dog, he did not like this one thing about him.

In 2018, Kal appeared in a video showcasing Henry Cavill’s Men’s Journal photo shoot. In the clip, the former Superman first expressed his admiration for the dog, calling him his best friend. However, it was Kal’s stubbornness that always irked the actor. “He drags a lot of attention away from me, which is excellent,” he added.
The Enola Holmes star also revealed that he takes his beloved dog everywhere he goes. According to him, Kal brings light to his life and so he goes with him on the sets, too. In fact, he was always around when he used to shoot his Netflix show, The Witcher. But the actor had to keep him in the trailer because he jumped on people whenever he saw a sword fight.
While Kal has continued to be his partner on sets and at home, the 40-year-old had to say goodbye to his other pet, Meet, whom he shared with his girlfriend Natalie Viscuso.
