Although their characters did not get along well in Friends, their characters in the Apple TV+ show have interesting dynamics. The designers, Elizabeth Lancaster, Debra McGuire, and Sophie De Rakoff, talked to W Magazine to reveal how they manage the distinctive dresses for the actress. De Rakoff explained most of the characters had a specific palette. Therefore, they could keep the crossover to an extremely minimal amount.

All three designers would constantly keep in touch with each other until the filming began. They would talk to each other about the looks and styles they had in their minds for the characters. De Rakoff cited an example of talking to one’s best friend about the same red skirt while planning a dinner. One of them would say, “You can wear the red skirt this time,” not allowing the matching clothes.

All three designers also admitted that they adored and respected each other’s works. Moreover, they were huge fans of the actresses. Therefore, making them look distinctive in their show was an honor for them. Out of respect for each other’s works, all three designers worked out a system and successfully styled the characters in The Morning Show.

Keeping their dresses different never made both actresses act differently to one another. In fact, they both share a great bond with each other.

The Horrible Bosses actress also has only great things to say about her long-term friend and co-star. Apart from their beautiful closeness, Anniston admired Witherspoon’s work ethic.
