With Tinseltown again at its peak with its inventory never running out of success stories, the entertainment capital recently pulled out all stops to prepare a thrilling cinematic atmosphere with the ultimate star-studded force alongside Jessica Chastain, Al Pacino, and more, to bring life to the upcoming conspiracy thriller, Assassination, based on John F. Kennedy. 

While Chastain and Al Pacino are icons on their own, the rest of the cast of Assassination is no exception.

According to the latest exclusive report from Deadline, Jessica Chastain, Brendan Fraser, and Bryan Cranston have teamed up to join Al Pacino in the mystery thriller, Assassination, to offer a fresh perspective on the John F. Kennedy conspiracy. The film will reportedly be under Barry Levinson’s directorial with a script by David Mamet, Levinson, and Sam Bromell. Production will be handled by Corey Large, who will also finance Assassination, alongside Jason Sosnoff, and Nicholas Celozzi.

The executive producers include John Burnham, Bernie Gewissler, Pia Patatian, and Jordan Nott. The outlet also reports that Patatian is in charge of worldwide rights through her new company, Concord Studios, and subsequently, has shouldered the responsibility to launch the thriller at the American Film Market. While there have been many films and documentaries on John F. Kennedy’s assassination, the promise of a new take with the upcoming thriller takes the anticipation up by a notch.

Deadline recently reported that the upcoming mystery thriller on John F. Kennedy will center on Dorothy Kilgallen, one of the media’s most iconic voices of her time. In the film, Kilgallen grows suspicious that Lee Harvey Oswald did not act alone and uses her fame and influence to hunt down the President’s true killer. Blending murder mystery with film noir, Kilgallen’s journey pits her against the CIA, mafia bosses, and the FBI—all determined to erase her and her story from existence.

The star, whose theatre trip landed her in the dreamy La La Land Jessica Chastain, will portray Dorothy Kilgallen in the movie. Production will allegedly begin in early 2025. That being said, it now remains to be seen if Assassination actually hits the mark for conspiracy lovers since this particular arena has been trodden by several visionaries.
