The fandom of Superman is still trying to get over the exit of Henry Cavill from the DC Universe. As James Gunn and Peter Safran have started looking for a new and young face, there have been several rumors and theories spreading on the internet regarding the casting. People are curious to know who will take the legacy of Clark Kent forward but in a young version. Now a new post on Twitter has left the fans divided as they choose between the best options to take the mantle of Superman.

The official account of DC Studios asked for the opinion of fans if they would like to see Asher Angel playing Clark Kent in the upcoming movie. Many might recognize the young actor from the famous Shazam franchise in which he portrayed the role of Billy Batson. Seeing the post fans instantly took to the comment section to share their views about casting.

“No one can replace HENRY CAVIL He’s the best live-action superman ever,” a fan remarked.

Another added, “No Too young atm and I don’t see him in the role The only DCU role I can potentially see him is Dick Grayson or Tim Drake.” 

Some other users saw him as a potential actor to take over this iconic role because he is young and talented.

Long before the announcement of the DC reboot, Dwayne Johnson stated in a video how the 39-year-old is the best version of Superman. As we all know that the Jumanji star always wanted to work alongside this handsome face.

“And I mean that respectfully to the other actors, especially Christopher Reeve, but [Henry is] the greatest Superman of all time,” stated the Black Adam star.
