The fandom of Superman is still trying to get over the exit of Henry Cavill from the DC Universe. As James Gunn and Peter Safran have started looking for a new and young face, there have been several rumors and theories spreading on the internet regarding the casting. People are curious to know who will take the legacy of Clark Kent forward but in a young version. Now a new post on Twitter has left the fans divided as they choose between the best options to take the mantle of Superman.
The official account of DC Studios asked for the opinion of fans if they would like to see Asher Angel playing Clark Kent in the upcoming movie. Many might recognize the young actor from the famous Shazam franchise in which he portrayed the role of Billy Batson. Way too young. The Superman movie comes out in 2025, which means they start filming when he's around 22-23ish. It's better to have Superman start from the ages 25-27, with an established job in Daily Planet. Especially if it won't be an origin story.
