Meghan Markle has undergone significant transformations throughout her life. Transitioning from a Hollywood actress to the Duchess of Sussex, she has always garnered attention for her various roles and decisions. However, prior to being a royal, she was celebrated for her portrayal of Rachel Zane in the legal drama Suits. Interestingly, during her time on the show, she earned a nickname that captured both her character and dedication.

On the set of Suits, Meghan Markle was known by a nickname that showcased not only her generous nature but also her ability to efficiently and productively handle her work. The Duchess came prepared to know her lines perfectly, hitting her marks flawlessly, and delivering her performance effortlessly. Additionally, she maintained a punctual approach, which never caused any delays or disruptions during production.

In the 2020 documentary Vice Versa: Meghan Markle Escaping the Crown, Omid Scobie revealed that the 41-year-old royal was given the nickname – “Meghan gets sh*tdone,” by her Suits co-stars. It was all for her knack for identifying problems and finding solutions. One such instance was when she noticed the craft service on set wasted the leftover food. Taking matters into her hands, she reached out to local organizations like shelters and soup kitchens coordinating the donation of this excess food to those in need.

Meghan Markle exemplified the qualities of someone dedicated to their craft than being merely mechanical, in nature. Additionally, her then co-stars still call her by that name! Moreover, the Suits set is not the only place that gave her a nickname. She has even more up her sleeves!

Meghan Markle still valued her work ethic even after being a royal, and that earned her some monickers, too.

Apart from King Charles’ “Tungsten”, Meghan Markle has earned herself several other ‘Royal’ nicknames

King Charles III affectionately called Meghan Markle “Tungsten” likening her to the strong steel gray metal known for its high melting point among all metallic elements. As a compliment and a symbol of admiration, the King gave this nickname to the Duchess of Sussex for her strength and determination during her tenure as a prominent member of the royal family. The King greatly appreciated her tireless work and her deep commitment to philanthropy qualities that he believed they both shared.

The Palace insiders and the staff, however, do not have good things to say about the Duchess. Her go-getter attitude did not go well with many people working for the royal family. A handful of insiders referred to the former actress as “Hurricane Meghan,” and “Duchess Difficult” criticizing her for being assertive, vocal, and authoritative.
