The tension between Meghan Markle and the royal family has been well-documented, and it is only worsening as the day goes. Nearly four years after Megxit, a new insider revelation emerged. 

The revelation alleged that Meghan Markle received cruel nicknames from the royal family during her time as a working royal. This came to light in the newly released book by the royal author, Omid Scobie. And now, a relationship expert has weighed in on these allegations, discussing its potential negative impact on the Duchess. 

How Meghan Markle got affected by the unkind nicknames 

Omid Scobie in his book, Endgame, alleged that the royal family gave four nicknames to Meghan Markle. This included Duchess Difficult, Me-gain, Narcissistic Sociopath, and Degree Wife. Louella Anderson told the Mirror that the harsh nicknames could have taken a toll on Markle’s confidence, leading to a “difficult and uncomfortable situation”. Anderson also conjectured that Markle must have been “hurt and disappointed”. This could have further contributed to the potential widening of her rift with the royal family.

As per the expert, Markle is someone who cares a lot about what other people think of her. Knowing that the royals spoke about her in such a way would have shattered her self-esteem. The co-founder of So Syncd also believed that the royals could have handled this situation better by “addressing any personal issues with Meghan head-on”. This is not the only time Anderson has taken a stand for the Duchess.

Louella Anderson told Mirror that Meghan Markle’s decision to remove her ring could be a conscious fashion choice. Markle, who likes to keep her style understated, may have taken off her ring to express her “personal preference for a less flashy look”. Additionally, she suggested that this does not necessarily say anything about the rumored deteriorating bond between her and Prince Harry. However, Prince William reportedly had a different opinion about the whole missing ring fiasco.

Prince William was reportedly concerned about the ring, as it had diamonds from his late mother, Prince Diana’s bracelets. An insider also revealed to New Idea Magazine, that the ring’s disappearance “set off alarm bells” at the palace, and Prince William is investigating the case on his own as he is very “protective of his mother’s legacy”. Despite the alleged hostility from the royal members, Louella Anderson remained one of the few royal experts who consistently took Markle’s stand.
