Kim Kardashian has rarely rubbed people off the wrong way in recent times. The fashion mogul has been receiving lots of love and dedicated customers for her impressive SKIMS collection. Not only that, but her recent honest confessions on the reality TV show The Kardashians seem to have piqued popularity among the fans too. She became Hollywood’s image of a billionaire businesswoman who handled her career and family gracefully amidst a divorce. The socialite remained on the positive sidelines while her ex-husband, Kanye West, faced the wrath of the media for his actions. But, it has not always been smooth sailing. Especially in her recent attempt at a non-reality tv show gig.

The release of the American Horror Story: Delicate poster has divided the Internet. The new poster featured Kardashian in the center with a dark, cloudy backdrop. She donned a silvery two-piece bodysuit with a menacing red-lipped gaze at the camera. Along with the horror-esque backdrop and outfit, she sported long white hair owing to the ghostly effect the AHS franchise stands for. They completed her look with a giant black spider latched onto her stomach, wrapping its legs around her.

When asked about her horror-genre debut in an interview with Variety in May, the fashion mogul said, “I am, of course. It’s a challenge. I like to challenge myself.” But that is not what Patti LuPone and John Leguizamo had to say. They called out the actress while also showing resentment towards her casting in the drama. Kardashian faced flak because of the lack of opportunities that trained and not-so-privileged actors face. 

While the poster did not serve according to some fans, many were thrilled to see “Mother Kim,” a phrase commonly given to female icons, in her upcoming horror anthology.

Fans are not sure if it is a slay, or nay for Kim Kardashian

The socialite had received the tag of a “scary slay” when her first looks from the show dropped. Looking as white as a ghost with a superb costume team, the Kardashian model looked electrifying as a horror entity. Similar tones of white, silver, and red accessorized it. The actress joined the cast of season 12 alongside Emma Roberts and Cara Delevingne. While some netizens showed support for it, others were disappointed and could not help but notice the similarity between her and the stunning and talented fellow Hollywood sensation Lady Gaga. 

Many were thrilled to see what the billionaire has in store for them.

Others have mixed feelings. They appreciate her as an artist, but could not imagine her winning with this one.

While Ryan Murphy is very hopeful to see one of the “biggest and brightest television stars” join the AHS crew, only time will tell how the show fairs with the audience. It is set to release on September 20 on FX and Hulu.
