The fashion sensation and Hollywood’s beloved married Hollywood A-lister Brad Pitt in 2000 and spent the next few years of her life tucked away with him till their divorce in 2005. The Friends diva once came alarmingly close to falling off a cliff

In an appearance on Late Night with Conan O’Brien in 2004, Brad Pitt recalled one incident involving Aniston which was “not good.” Rather, it had him on the edge of his nerves while his wife stood at the edge of a cliff. Jennifer Aniston suffered from a condition called somnambulism, which made her talk and walk around in sleep. 

Initially, it remained confined to the house. Pitt even found it funny and adorable when Aniston would randomly wake up in the middle of the night speaking a different language or one where she asked for “young men in uniform.” All of it went for a toss when one night they were staying at a residence up on the cliffs. All of a sudden the anti-theft alarm went blaring only for Pitt to find Aniston dangerously close to falling off. Fortunately, the actor quickly managed to get his wife back off safely. 

As much as the duo loved each other, their marriage turned sour after a while. It was all over in one of the biggest spotlighted events in Hollywood.

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s marriage went ahead smoothly, loving for years. The Hollywood pair received and commanded a daunting screen presence thanks to their on-screen personas. However, things went off the rails when news broke out of Brad Pitt having an extra-marital affair with his Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-star Angelina Jolie. The result was a series of intense media scrutiny and intrusion into the private life of Aniston. Even after filing for divorce in 2005, the debate on Aniston versus Jolie raged on.

The various comparisons, accusations, and theories that surrounded Aniston left her visibly troubled and traumatized. Furthermore, at one point the public hoopla and arid news floating about her made the star feel as if she was in a “soap opera.” Nevertheless, the only thing Jennifer Aniston had never lost was her loyal fan base, who had stood beside her since her Friends days.
