Courteney Cox, 59, posted on Instagram on Tuesday, playfully mocking some of her past hair choices. The video featured the American star casually petting a dog when one of her friends approached, asking what was going on. When she stood up to tell them about construction, she found them donning her face on a hoodie. It was a scene from her film Scream where she wore micro bangs. “Don’t wear that sweatshirt. The bangs? C’mon, that’s ridiculous,” she said, seeing the print.
The joke, however, did not end there and when she entered a room to check on workers she realized others also wore sweatshirts featuring her worst Monica Geller hairdos. One of them was from the episode The One After Joey And Rachel Kiss of season 10. In this episode, Monica’s hair gets frizzy because of the humidity in Barbados. The video ended with the creepy ‘Twilight Zone’ music playing in the background as Cox says “Oh,” quietly before quickly leaving the area.
This certainly was not the first time Cox addressed her infamous haircut. Two years back, she talked about her Scream micro bangs in an interview.

In January 2022, Courteney Cox graced the episode of The Drew Barrymore Show. When asked about her Scream bangs, she confirmed she never liked that look. “Oh that was the worst. I forgot about that. There was nothing worse,” explained the Cougar Town star. She continued it was a big lesson for her because it would be a part of that film forever.
Fashion mishaps do happen sometimes and Cox knows it well, but one certainly cannot deny she had worn some amazing looks on the NBC sitcom too. Not so long ago, one fan of hers turned to social media to recognize her best styles from the series.
