Arnold Schwarzenegger is one of the greatest bodybuilders of all time, who has written books and articles about it. Additionally, whenever we hear the Austrian actor’s name, automatically our mind pictures him in The Terminator franchise. His character in the film still makes his fans baffling. And the Commando actor thinks the franchise predicted the future of artificial intelligence.
The 75-year-old actor, who recently appeared on the Netflix Original series, FUBAR, is a remarkable action hero of all time. He is known for his work in The Terminator franchise. And at An Evening with Arnold Schwarzenegger, conducted by Academy Museum, the former bodybuilder opened up about the franchise’s connection with artificial intelligence.
Praising the writer-director James Cameron, the actor said the movie predicted the future of AI, which was now a reality. Touching upon the fear of AI, Schwarzenegger said in the 1984 sci-fi movie, they scratched the surface of the technology.

Referring to the franchise, the former governor of California also added they talked about machines becoming self-aware and taking over. He said it was not only a fantasy or futuristic anymore because “it is here today.”
The True Lies star could not stop appreciating Cameron’s brilliant writing skills and wished he could have taken the credit as well. But he gave the brilliant writer-director his due credit and said he was an extraordinary artist who deserved this huge recognition.
The 7-time Mr. Olympia title winner also credited his iconic dialogue with James Cameron and remembered his fight about it.

He even had an argument about the same while filming this specific scene. But Cameron did not allow the Last Action Hero star to make the change. Therefore, the former politician admitted if it was not for Cameron, he would not have become famous for this dialogue.
