“Tell us something..”: ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Creates Massive Conviction in Fans With an Early Buzzer
As Deadpool & Wolverine gears up for its theatrical release somewhat three months from now, the anticipation has been piling up each passing day with eyes glued on every update about it. With Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman poised to lead the film, Shawn Levy has not let slide any opportunity to divulge teasers upfront. Consequently, the expectations have already skyrocketed since this chapter of Deadpool will be unlike anything from the past. At this juncture, the sole missing piece of the puzzle would have been an early review of the film, yet surprisingly, it has emerged, prompting fans to demand some fresh intel instead.
When the talks about Deadpool & Wolverine first began, speculation and fan theories sprang up like never before, resorting fans to delight in unwarranted leaks post-production. For the very same fans who were over the moon to get a slight sneak peek into what is to come, an early word came forward from Jeff Sneider, leaving fans in major conviction but also a little disappointed since they seem to have expected more from an early review. As per Sneider, the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine is “really good” and well, just that.

For fans eagerly awaiting the movie’s release, already known as the priority-based offering in the MCU for the year, the review merely confirmed what they had anticipated. Although anything less than exceptional would have been surprising, the lack of specific details in the review left fans drawing parallels with other MCU films, failing to provide a unique hook to cling to.
Fans, as a result, were filled with mixed feelings; not about the movie, but surely about the early word.
Fans are divided over Deadpool & Wolverine’s early review
Over the past fortnight, the unveiling of numerous teasers for Deadpool & Wolverine has left fans eagerly anticipating more, particularly following CinemaCon. More specifically, Shawn Levy's teasing remarks regarding Taylor Swift's possible cameo and his dispelling of major misconceptions surrounding the film kept enthusiasts engaged. While an early review of the movie was the only lost fragment before the release, Jeff Sneider's cautious approach resulted in fans reiterating, “tell us something we don’t know”.
As most fans saw the content of the review as commonplace, some fans, on the other hand, were just “happy” to get the confirmation, nevertheless.

Even though the initial review was not quite what fans had anticipated, it still provided a sense of contentment. For those eagerly awaiting this movie, every tidbit of information holds significance. Therefore, despite some reservations about the wording, it did serve as a temporary satisfaction. Nonetheless, since the brief review did not fully captivate fans, there is optimism that more comprehensive reviews will come forward when the movie releases in July.
