Britain’s royal family and the British press share an extremely uncomfortable relationship. Since time immemorial, the House of Windsor has always gotten into a quagmire of controversies. And all of it has either been aggravated by the Press or been completely numbed out by it. As a result, some royal members have their secrets safe, or at least under wraps while others feel the need to take down the publications for their intrusion into their private lives. While in the case of this era’s biggest world icon, Princess Diana, the latter was never an option. And her youngest, Prince Harry, and wife, Meghan Markle have sworn in to fight it on all legal fronts.

Prince Harry calls back her mother’s death 

As reported by Guardian, the publication has brought back some sensitive memories of the past. While a group of top-tier British papers has already come under the radar, the royal experts have also played a major role in the industry. This time Prince Harry is exposing the bitter truths of the family that have grasped this family for years. Starting from his mother, Princess Diana, the Duke alleged that it was the Press that had actually troubled the former Princess. 

The Duke took almost no time to slam the media tycoons once he got the opportunity. Calling out tabloid Mogul Piers Morgan, Prince Harry has claimed that during his time in the NGN, Morgan knew about the sandals going out and about surrounding him and his family. Nonetheless, the Firm turned a deaf ear as usual. However, according to him, Morgan “knew about, encouraged and concealed” still. 

The Duke has accused various media houses of leaking 

He has thus alleged that, in the phone hacks and text messages fiasco, the media persons used various illegal means to obtain information. A few moments before Princess Diana’s tragic demise, various publications like The Sun, and News of the World forwarded and exploited the same for their own profit. 

However, it is also to note that Piers Morgan, who now is a host of the popular television interview program, was the editor at News of the World. This amounts to one of the prime reasons Prince Harry has been targeting at. Further updates over the same are yet to reach the media houses.
