Her major break was the HBO drama series, Euphoria, where she plays the role of Cassie Howard. Even though the series became a huge hit, it received a ton of backlash for scenes that involved nudity, violence, or even substance abuse.

But one year before the actress even starred in Euphoria, an interviewer asked her a question that stopped the actress right in her tracks, but she quickly composed herself and set the record straight.

Sydney Sweeney reveals her backup plans

Back in 2018, Sydney Sweeney met with Schon Magazine for an interview. While most of the interview was fun and easy, the interviewer asked the actress if she had a backup plan for her acting career. Although most people would get offended, she stuck to her guns and immediately answered, “Still acting.”

The question came after the actress had talked about how she had continued going to school while her career took off. But the actress quickly set things straight by saying, “School is not a backup.” While it is evident that the actress believes education is extremely important, it is the why that will leave you surprised.

Sydney Sweeney, who also revealed her worst fan interaction, has never shied away from the spotlight, but the actress has always been sure of what she has wanted to do. She even got a degree to help her figure things out by herself in the industry.

Anyone who has watched a Sweeney show or movie knows that the actress gives her all, making the audience feel what she wants them to. But that is not the only trick Sydney Sweeney has up her sleeve. Back in 2018, she revealed that she had continued going to school because the “industry is a business” and she wanted to learn how to run her own business.

But that is not all. The twenty-five-year-old actress studied at the University of California in Los Angeles and even majored in entrepreneurship. While this might not be as huge as Euphoria, it was still a huge achievement that the actress achieved.

And it looks like her degree is being put to use, with Sydney Sweeney’s launch of her production company, Fifty-Fifty, which was started back in 2020 and has already signed multiple projects.
