Sydney Sweeney, Vanessa Kirby, and Ana de Armas- three of the leading ladies in Hollywood- have teamed up for a survival thriller, Eden. Oscar-winning filmmaker Ron Howard directs the thriller which features a star-studded cast including Jude Law, Daniel Brühl, Felix Kammerer, Toby Wallace, and Richard Roxburgh. The movie wrapped production in February of this year and recently held its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 7, where the actresses were seen all glammed up while posing for photos together. 

Before this trio become all Hollywood can talk about, here is how they hold up against one another, as they share screen for the first time.

Sydney Sweeney, Ana de Armas, and Vanessa Kirby are all known for their versatility in acting. Kirby has gone from historical figures to action heroes, while Armas has shown her range in thrillers, dramas, and action films. Sweeney, on the other hand, is tackling new genres with each project, with her latest being a boxing biopic. Despite their talent, their paths to fame and their journeys are quite different. 

Sydney Sweeney has mainly risen to prominence through television, with shows like The Handmaid’s Tale, Euphoria, and The White Lotus. While Sweeney is a big name in Hollywood, Armas and Kirby have earned international recognition as stars. Sydney Sweeney is currently at the peak of her career. The actress did three movies in just four months and Eden will be her third film in 2024, following Madame Web and Immaculate. Among all these projects, only Madame Web turned out to be a disappointment, while Sweeney received immense commercial and critical success with the other two. Therefore, Eden is just another experiment in Sweeney’s diverse acting trajectory, and it is certain she will nail it. 

For Ana de Armas, however, after the lackluster reception of 2023's Ghosted, the actress is looking to make a comeback with Eden. Meanwhile, Vanessa Kirby has had a packed year with roles in Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One and Napoleon. She is also about to join the MCU, and if rumors are to be believed, so will Sweeney. With a busy and fortunate career run, similar to Sweeney's, Kirby will be simply boosting her Oscar-powerhouse reputation with Eden.
