Sydney Sweeney Takes Over Iconic Los Angeles Landmark Whisky a Go Go With Angry Billboards
Imagine being young, and successful, yet still having the hunger to do more. The living answer to that is Sydney Sweeney. The Euphoria actress has kept herself involved in several ventures. From starring in Sony’s Madame Web to headlining the iconic rock and roll band, Rolling Stone’s latest musical comeback video, Sweeney is on the move. Interestingly, her project with Rolling Stone has had her heralded at some of the iconic locations of Los Angeles.
The director of that music video, François Rousselet, left no stone unturned in unleashing his creativity. The result is Los Angeles’ iconic landmarks decked up with Sweeney.

Sydney Sweeney starred in Rolling Stone’s latest musical video for their song ‘Angry’. The track features as the first in their upcoming 31st album, ‘Hackney Diamonds’. Additionally, the song has been described as the band’s best in decades with an intertwining musical riff. Sweeney’s video takes her along the Sunset Boulevard, within which lies the iconic landmark. In her Instagram story, Sweeney re-shared director François Rousselet’s story, which featured the iconic Whiskey a Go Go venue covered in Sweeney’s ‘Angry’ billboards.
The Whiskey a Go Go is a testament to the early days of rock and heavy metal music. The erstwhile nightclub and live music venue was the cradle for Frank Zappa, and Guns N’ Roses, among many others. Additionally, it was the nerve of the 1960s and 1970s musical scenes that saw the birth of metal and rock and roll. Moreover, the Rolling Stones covered their version of ‘Going to a Go-Go’ by The Miracles in 1965, which spoke of the importance of the place. Now, the again famous two-sided billboards as well as the poster walls are all Sweeney.

Sydney Sweeney channeled her inner metal spirits as she took on a leathery black plunging corset, star-shaped chaps, and beaded shorts. Glittering in the shine of a silver choker, the actress strutted and rolled over a red car, singing and playing air guitar across Sunset Boulevard. The video for ‘Angry’ took Sweeney across the Los Angeles setting and by various billboards highlights Rolling Stone throughout the years. All eyes fell on Sweeney as she unmistakably took over the vibe of the highs of rock and roll.
Sweeney had earlier described being chosen for the music video as “the biggest thing ever”. Moreover, François Rousselet brought out his creativity as he digitally recreated about forty billboards throughout the video, which Sweeney subtly drove by. Rolling Stone’s ‘Hackney Diamonds’ is their first original album in over eighteen years. Moreover, it features twelve tracks, which feature Sweeney and will feature Lady Gaga. As of now, Sweeney’s moves across the Sunset Boulevard have become one of her best-ever projects.
