The Hollywood Reporter recently reached out to agents, managers, and film industry executives to find out who the most in-demand actors and actresses are these days. The report spotlighted 10 stars, with Sydney Sweeney shining brightly among them. She made the cut in Hollywood's most-wanted rankings alongside her Euphoria co-stars Zendaya and Jacob Elordi. The 26-year-old popped up on fans' radars after her roles in Euphoria and the first season of The White Lotus.
Since then, she has gone on to star in the Spider-Man spinoff movie Madame Web, Reality and Immaculate. Also, thanks to her marketing savvy, she pulled off the rare feat of turning Anyone but You into a rom-com blockbuster. She also recently hosted Saturday Night Live. With such an extensive list of credits at just 26, it is no wonder she was on the list. However, it seemed the list had a soft spot, particularly for a franchise.
A beloved franchise saw almost its entire lineup make the cut to the list, which speaks volumes about its success.

The runaway success of 2024 so far was, undeniably, Dune: Part Two. Interestingly, the entire main cast of the movie got a feature on the list in question. It had Austin Butler, Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh, and Zendaya. This served as a testament to the ongoing dominance of franchises in Tinseltown, although there is a renewed push by studios to revitalize star-centric vehicles. With a hefty $190 million budget and a wide-ranging release strategy, this sci-fi saga pulled in $178.5 million during its opening weekend.
More than just its box office numbers, Dune: Part Two also received a whopping 93% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Critics still cannot stop raving about its status as a seminal sci-fi masterpiece. Therefore, it was hardly a surprise to see the entire young cast of Dune: Part Two grace the Top 10 list, much like the burgeoning megastar Sydney Sweeney.
