The moment Sydney Sweeney heard about her double Emmy nomination, the first person she dialed was her mother. And everyone heard the touching phone conversation the actress had with her mother, thanking her for her unwavering support. It has been almost two years since that moment, and nothing has changed. Sweeney is as grateful as she was before to her mother, Lisa, for being a pillar of support in her career. And recently, she found the most heartwarming way to honor her mom for her endless sacrifices.
Sweeney found a way out to give her mother a kind and thoughtful gift as a "thank you" for everything she has done.

Sydney Sweeney had consistently backed Lisa, even during the unwelcomed scandal that surrounded the 26-year-old's mother some time back. The Euphoria actress recently told WhoWhatWear that her parents' belief in her ability and career is the reason behind her success. She went on to say that she had always envisioned herself supporting and caring for her parents. Therefore, as a token of thanks, the now producer paid off her mother’s mortgage.

The actress also shared how her family has been a source of solace to her in the chaos of Hollywood and the hustle-bustle of box-office hits and bombs. Therefore, Sweeney tries to keep them close to her as much as possible. In fact, if given a choice, the Immaculate star would choose to move back to Spokane, Washington State, to spend time with her family any day. Since that is not reasonable at this juncture of her career, she occasionally brings her family to her sets. And sometimes even to give them some acting gigs!
Sweeney surprised two of her family members by flying them down for a short gig in her latest movie, Immaculate.

At the premiere of Immaculate, Sydney Sweeney posed with two of her grandmas in front of the flashes. But they were not just there to support the actress for her new project. The grandmas were also a part of the movie, as they played a pair of little old nuns in the same Italian convent where Sweeney battled with the horrors. On Jimmy Fallon's talk show, Sweeney narrated the story of getting her grandmas to act in her movie and also shared some behind-the-scenes snippets.
Apparently, Sweeney made her grandmas fly all the way down to Italy to be extras in her movie. She also revealed how her family shares a mutual love for the horror genre, making their incorporation into the religious horror movie all the more special. That said, Sweeney’s family plays a crucial role in her career and her thoughtful gestures of appreciation for them are a huge testament to it.
