Though the Christmas box office had already wrapped up its festive finale, Sweeney is busy scripting an even better sequel, showcasing a creative canvas forever fueled by surprise. 

With a yes to both work and play, Sweeney dropped her most sidesplitting video yet, serving a riotous remedy for the post-party blues.

After making 2024 a blockbuster year, Sydney Sweeney quickly wore her party shoes for the year-ending shenanigans for a cinematic curtain call complete with friends and family. While Christmas is over, Tinseltown’s festive clock ticks to a different drumbeat. According to The Housemaid's latest reel shared on its official Instagram handle with Sweeney, Amanda Seyfried, Brandon Sklenar, and Paul Feig, The Housemaid has kick-started production, and to get the party started, the stars have turned on the crazy button.

The Instagram reel starts with Seyfried flaunting her pre-transformation face, courtesy of The Housemaid’s Freida McFadden. As the camera pans across the star-studded cast, they seamlessly shift gears, heralding the most unforgettable day one of production with a hilariously chaotic announcement. Against the backdrop of red flags hinting at the dark twists to come, the actors are captured in their goofiest glory, lip-synching to an audio reaction to the book, setting the tone for a wildly unpredictable ride.

Although Tinseltown’s festive after-parties are incomplete without the next day's on-set calls, Sydney Sweeney is doubling down on the after-hours with a euphoric call on the go. 

Sydney Sweeney may have packed her bags after the family time this festive season to make the upcoming Christmas a thrilling ride with The Housemaid, but this is far from the only project she has been putting her mind to. After going back and forth on updates and delays, Discussing Film on X recently announced Euphoria’s third season is scheduled to begin filming this month.

The polyglot star, however, is not the only one pulling double duty. Zendaya is switching gears into action mode to star in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming blockbuster and return in Spider-Man 4 simultaneously. While the on-set theatrics of The Housemaid have been quite the post-festive treat for Sweeney’s fans, all eyes are now on Euphoria to keep the party going.
