Over the years, the world has seen Sydney Sweeney slowly take over the Hollywood world. From television shows to films and music videos, the 26-year-old actress has made sure to try her hand at different things. Most recently, it was her upcoming survival thriller, Eden. However, now Sony Pictures has finally shared another update on her Madame Web film.

While it was unfortunately not a teaser or a trailer, the studio ended up giving fans a first look at two of the upcoming film’s stunning posters.

Sydney Sweeney dazzles in the first look at the Madame Web posters

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the first two posters for her project with Dakota Johnson, Madame Web, were revealed. While the 50 Shades of Grey star stole center stage as the film’s main character, Sweeney ended up stunning her fans in the snaps that made their way online. She even donned glasses in the pictures to make herself look like her character, Julia Carpenter.

In the pictures, the lead actress could be seen wearing a trench coat which hid her Spiderman-styled costume. However, Sweeney could be seen in the background, striking a rather intense pose. In the poster, the actress had a serious look on her face and the glasses only seemed to enhance it. So far, the film was halted because of the SAG-AFTRA strike, but there has not been much progress on that front.

With such a long delay, fans are uncertain about whether the superhero film could be released on its earlier announced release date. However, Sony does not seem to have any such qualms about it.

When will Madame Web come out?

Earlier this year, Sony had revealed plans to ensure that Madame Web would be released in February 2024. Although, with everything put on hold because of the severity of the Hollywood strike, the world expected the film to be pushed just like countless others. However, it looks like the studio has stood its ground and decided that it would be making its way to theatres in just two months.

Even in the posters that recently made their way online, the studio added that it would be released in February. While it might be a rush to get the project wrapped up, the poster has intrigued fans even more. Hopefully, Sony will be able to keep their word and get the Sydney Sweeney and Dakota Johnson project out on time.
