Even though updates have been as scarce as a unicorn sighting, fresh reports confirm that the 'It' girl is all set to keep dazzling Hollywood with her non-stop schedule into next year. So for those still out of the loop, this Euphoria scoop is everything fans have been dreaming of.

In a recent chat with Deadline at the HBO| Max Emmy afterparty, Casey Bloys, the big cheese at HBO and Max content spilled the beans on what is brewing for upcoming seasons of various shows, including Euphoria with Sydney Sweeney. When asked about the return of Euphoria and whether he could nail down a release date, Bloys could not give an exact date yet. But he did share that their original plan to kick off shooting in mid-January is still cruising smoothly.

Bloys also dished out he cannot yet pin down a release date, but they are still happily in the coming-soon zone. He has reportedly had a sneak peek at the scripts, which have totally tickled his fancy. Plus, the team is still in cahoots with creator Sam Levinson, according to the latest scoop from Bloys. So, while the release date remains a mystery, Sweeney and her co-stars have the upcoming year all packed to bring back everything euphoric.

While the Euphoria update must have had everyone on the edge of their seats, Sydney Sweeney is in for a similar thrill, having been just as excited as her fans to return to the show.

Earlier this year, Francesca Orsi, the EVP of HBO programming, announced that Euphoria season 3 is set to start rolling in January 2025. Sydney Sweeney recently sat down with PEOPLE for an interview this August, dropping some more hints about what lies ahead for Euphoria in season 3. “I’m very excited to jump back into Cassie”, said the polyglot actress, hinting at the “crazy” side of her character and promising to crank things up a notch. 

“I love crazy Cassie, so the crazier, the better for me”, quipped Sweeney. While she did not drop any new information to confirm the production window at the time, the recent confirmation from Casey Bloys means that the ‘It’ girl will be busy bringing the drama and excitement of Euphoria to fans next year while she cocoons out of the coming-soon phase.
