According to an exclusive new report by Deadline, Sydney Sweeney is in talks to star in the upcoming adaptation of Edgar Allen Poe’s short story, The Masque of the Red Death. The original 1842 short story by Poe revolves around Prince Prospero and his attempts to escape a deadly plague, called the Red Death, by hiding in his abbey. More details on the cast and release date are under wraps as of now. However, Polinger will also executive produce alongside Lucy McKendrick. Although a confirmed status of Sweeney’s onboarding for the project may arrive soon, fans might have to hold their horses until then.
