Sydney Sweeney played Reality Winner in the movie who was arrested for leaking classified government documents about potential Russian interference in the 2016 election. What made this movie stand out was its exploration of real conversations among people. The dialogues were taken directly from FBI recordings and transcripts of Winner’s real interview. This added an extra layer of authenticity and rawness.

The film avoided painting Winner as a hero or a villain. Instead, it presented her as a human forced to make a tough choice. The tension between apparent geniality and the intensifying search procedure created much-needed suspense and nail-biting thrill for the audience, making it one of the best thriller movies in recent times. While Sweeney is busy with her Anyone But You promotions, her crime drama thriller could add the first feather to her crown ahead of the rom-com’s release.
