Sydney Sweeney Drops an Adorable Clip With a Flirty Pout Days After Shutting Down Her Trollers
Sydney Sweeney is on a roll. Since entering the industry, along with the love, success, and critical acclaim, she has also faced intense trolling on the web. Unfortunately, much of this trolling has centered around her appearance, particularly her body. Recently, Sweeney, who has been a victim of body dysmorphia, experienced a wave of backlash and criticism over a transformation in her looks related to one of her upcoming roles. But this time, Sweeney did not stay quiet or get caught up in the negativity. Instead, she responded with confidence and style.
It seems, however, that Sweeney is not done having fun with her trolls just yet, and she struck back the third time in a row now.

Sydney Sweeney recently shared a flirty video on her Instagram story. In the clip, she appeared in a cozy white robe, with a relaxed and playful attitude. Her crystal-blue eyes sparkled as she stared into the camera, and soon she zoomed in for a cheeky pout. This came just after she posted a carousel of images, playfully mocking the trolls who criticized her for her upcoming Christy Marty biopic transformation.
Sweeney showed off her curves on Instagram, wearing only a cardigan, seemingly responding to body-shaming backlash in her own unique way. Not only that, but she also held up a mirror to her trolls by posting a video featuring their own nasty comments—without saying a word. While Sweeney has stopped engaging directly with body-shaming trolls, she has been outspoken about such behavior in the past.
Last year, Sweeney delivered a powerful response to those who think they can police how women’s bodies should look like.
Sydney Sweeney addresses her body-shamer bullies
While promoting her horror film Immaculate, Sydney Sweeney sat down for an interview with Variety in March of last year. She pointed out how some people seem to think they can say whatever they want about her because they assume she has given up her personal life by entering the industry. However, Sweeney reminded everyone that she is a "human" first, before a celebrity or a public figure.

Sweeney also spoke to Glamour the same year, stating, “I want to show girls that it's amazing and beautiful and empowering to have the bodies that we have”. Nonetheless, now Sweeney seems to have found the perfect formula to deal with such cyber-bullying—where she defends herself with confidence while not letting these trolls get the better of her.
