Since the release of Anyone But You, Sydney Sweeney has been on quite the winning streak in the industry. But besides her acting side of things, the star has also scored two global beauty brand ambassadorships since the start of the new year. Especially, the kind of impact she is making on the beauty industry and pop culture has opened the door to several lucrative partnerships, including those with Laneige and Kérastase. But who would have thought she could also make a difference in the men’s grooming product market?
Sweeney recently joined the Dr. Squatch campaign, and the reason behind this was her down-to-earth and fun personality.

Dr. Squatch recently joined forces with Sydney Sweeney to help promote their new product. The digitally savvy men’s grooming brand brought the actress on board as the Body Wash Genie, promising to grant “every man’s wish”, a natural body wash. Recently, John Ludeke, the brand’s vice president of marketing, shared some insights in an email, as reported by Marketing Dive. He explained that they were looking for partners “who are down to have fun, break convention, and be a little bit irreverent”.
"Sydney definitely fits the bill,” added Ludeke. Sweeney will share the full campaign on her socials on October 3, with a bunch of content. Overall, it has been a busy year for the star when it comes to partnerships. In May, she became the first global brand ambassador for Laneige, and then in August, footwear company HeyDude announced her as its global ambassador, which, by the way, created an interesting trend.

In August, Crocs’ HeyDude brand named Sydney Sweeney its global spokesperson, just after warning that their sales might drop by 10% this year. However, once they brought the Euphoria star on board, the stock surged over 3%, sending shares up 4.1% and another 1% rise on the second day. Within just a few days, the stock jumped more than 50% year-to-date.

The company announced that Sweeney will lead a new brand campaign aimed at starting a movement of “Dudes.” This partnership with Sweeney, combined with positive signs like a surge in search interest for both the HeyDude and Crocs brands, was believed to be the driving force behind this optimistic outlook on the stock. And a similar boost can be expected for Dr. Squatch now that Sweeney is part of the team.
