Noah Schnapp and his coming out video took the internet by storm. After months of doubt and hesitance, the Stranger Things actor came out to the internet via his TikTok. Following this, a lot of buzz followed on the internet, with fans rejoicing about the actor’s brave steps. Especially, the character of Will Byers gave him the strength to come out to the rest of the world. While navigating such tough waters can prove to be harrowing, his courage was met with open arms! And soon, he shared a new accolade with Hollywood’s It Girl, Sydney Sweeney. 

The two pop-culture sensations hit fame with Euphoria and Stranger Things and have since climbed above and upwards. Coming together to attend an event, the two bedazzled the evening on the red carpet. 

When Cassie met Will

Not long along, Variety announced its honorees’ list for the Power of Young Hollywood Honorees 2023. This “invites-only” red carpet event saw Sweeney in a gorgeous Alexander McQueen black corset and skirt. The actress posted the Californian event’s snaps on Instagram, sporting the McQueen Punk pumps and Jewelled Accumulation earrings. Alongside the Armani Beauty ambassador was fellow winner Schnapp. While Sweeney was in black, Schnapp complimented her perfectly in his grey trousers and white shirt. They posed for the camera with their awards held high up in the air.

Her slick hair was styled by Glencoco, paired perfectly with the bright blue jellyfish-like nails. The two budding artists emerged as the frontrunners for the cover page alongside Steve Lacy, with other young impact profiles, including Sabrina Carpenter, Bretman Rock, and others.

While this maiden young honoree award comes as a result of their stellar performances, it is just the beginning for the 18-year-old Schnapp and the 25-year-old actress who will soon star in a superhero movie.

While Schnapp attends the University of Pennsylvania, he is also preparing for his character’s final arc in Stranger Things season 5. In the Variety feature of the Stranger Things talking about his coming out, the show’s Ross Duffer said, “Will really takes center stage again in 5…So part of his journey, it’s not just sexuality — it’s Will coming into his own as a young man.”

On the other hand, Sony Pictures confirmed The White Lotus actress in the upcoming Madame Webb. Starring as Julia Carpenter, the actress will star alongside Dakota Johnson and will enter the Spiderman universe as the second Spiderwomen and second Madame Web.
