When it comes to acting, Sydney Sweeney spins a web of pure gold, unmatched by any. While most think the magic is all about what is on the screen, Sweeney has the smarts to work her magic, even without it. Sure, not every on-screen landing stick, for instance, her superhero turn in Madame Web. But despite the box office not being rescued, she still found the perfect moment to flex her superhero muscles and earned her spot as the friendly neighborhood spider-woman, thanks to her heroics beyond the screen.

While Sony may have missed the chance to cash in on Sweeney’s power plays, the actor herself has served the justice drops right where it matters.

Sydney Sweeney is not ready to do away with the super suit after Madame Web and she is making use of her superpowers to bring some real-life change instead of reel by playing a crucial role in apprehending a robber. According to a recent report from TMZ, law enforcement sources informed that while Sweeney was away from her Los Angeles abode filming for the Christy Martin biopic, security cameras buzzed in with alerts about a person lurking around her property.

The suspect allegedly entered Sweeney’s property around 3.30 AM last Monday and made a move to her neighbor’s abode not long after, ransacking and burgling some goods before fleeing. However, since Sweeney alerted the authorities, cops were able to reach and search the surrounding areas just in time to get the suspect detained. The intruder has been reportedly charged with a felony burglary, courtesy of the polyglot actor’s reactive genius.

It may seem that life under the spotlight brings the upper hand to heightened security, but in reality, even the highest security measures have failed to prevent break-ins and there are plenty of names in the industry who will attest to it. To add a few instances, in 2020, Taylor Swift’s father ran into a stranger who had broken into her house, who initially fled but was later arrested. A similar incident happened with the Beckham family while they were in their London residence with their 10-year-old daughter.

Another pop sensation, Hilary Duff had a similar experience to Sydney Sweeney while being away on a vacation, when her home in Beverly Hills was looted. Although Sweeney’s home was left as it is, the Kardashian-Jenner clan confronted a notorious burglary in 2016 that resulted in the theft of $10 million in jewels. While there are countless more instances of such break-ins, Sweeney’s quick thinking, at least, saved another addition to that catalog.
