Sydney Sweeney Amps Up the Heat in a Raunchy Display in Australia Weeks Within the Release Of ‘Anyone but You’
Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell’s Anyone But You made its theatrical debut last month, raking in an impressive $34.2 million in the United States. The film was set against the romantic coastal landscapes of Australia, so the actress’s presence in the country was a given. However, when Sweeney first popped up on Sydney’s outskirts, no one expected her to make a long-term pitstop Down Under. While shooting her romantic comedy, Sweeney enjoyed several getaways in Australia with her friends and boyfriend.
Despite the final credits rolling for the Will Gluck movie and no more red-carpet affairs, the actress has made a sudden return to Australia.

Sydney Sweeney recently treated her Instagram followers to a sneak peek of an opulent beachfront property, as she seemingly geared up for a seaside splash in a sleek black swimsuit. Her caption, “I am backkkkkk,” showcased her excitement about being in the country again. Last month, Sweeney shared her plans to plant roots in Australia on the Smallzy’s Surgery podcast. Even her Anyone But You co-star, Glen Powell, confidently bet that Sweeney would have a place Down Under by the end of 2024.
This podcast came after Sweeney appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in her gorgeous red outfit, and was quizzed about picking up any local slang during her time working in Australia. The actress confirmed that she had learned some Aussie slang. She went on to try and explain “Schoolies Week”—the Australian tradition where high school graduates go on holiday to mark the end of their school day—to the American audience.
While she has been swept off her feet by Australia, there is a special someone who makes her homesick for the good ol’ USA.

Sydney Sweeney had been soaking up the Australian sunshine for a good stretch. She juggled between work commitments and making time for exploration whenever her schedule allowed it. However, the actress was counting down the days to her return to the USA for a very special someone. The Euphoria star had then shared a story on Instagram, where she put up an adorable picture of her dog, Tank, along with a note.
The note had said, “Can’t wait to see this goobers face soon”. After weeks in a foreign place with a packed schedule, one can tell she was really looking forward to getting back to her $3 million LA house, and Tank was a big part of that. However, after getting wind of her plans for 2024, it seems like even Tank has to be in for a shift to the land down under.
