Sussex Fans Celebrate as Meghan Markle Features in a Latte Brand Promo She Once Gifted To Oprah Winfrey
Meghan Markle rocks more hats than one. Not only is she a blogger, author, philanthropist, and a member of the British royal family, but she also ventures into private investments. Especially, when it comes to supporting small, women-led businesses, Markle is always a step ahead of the curve. One such California-based instant latte business, ClevrBlends, welcomed Markle as an investor in 2020. And recently, Markle popped up as a background extra in a bizarre Instagram ad for the coffee company she holds share in.
In the ad, the Duchess took on the role of an intern and engaged in tasks like stacking boxes and making hot drinks. Meanwhile, CEO and co-founder Hannah Mendoza toured the company’s HQ, expressing gratitude for the team’s hard work in 2023. Towards the end, Markle hilariously missed a fist bump, leaving everyone cracking up before the video wrapped. The Latte brand shared this video on Instagram with the caption saying, “Damn, you’re keeping us BUSY right now! Had to call in some reinforcements”.

Earlier this year, the founder also dropped their journey video of the brand so far and how Meghan then helped them to grow. With her investment, she also roped in some of her industry friends, Oprah Winfrey being one of them, to join the ClevrBlends fan club. Markle sent Oprah a gift basket of ClevrBlends products, and in December 2020, Oprah gave the brand a social media boost by promoting it.
Given the response from fans, this new advertisement will surely fan the flames of the latte brand’s popularity.

Meghan Markle initially discovered the brand in 2017 when its founder was selling it at a pop-up store. This was before the brand became an at-home blend. Confirming her investment in a 2019 statement to Fortune, Markle shared that she was backing a passionate female entrepreneur who is committed to “building community alongside her business”. And fans have been appreciating the same, ever since the video surfaced on the web.
While a fan became busy counting how many times Markle showed up in the video, others marveled at the Duchess’ fun personality.
Many fans appreciated Markle’s adorable playfulness in the advertisement and likened it to their own treasured Christmas cards.
