Rumors had it that Justice League 2 is on the way. Following Black Adam’s debut, fan-favorite Henry Cavill was prepping to take up Superman’s role once again and entice everyone with his almost pensive version of the greatest superhero of all time, until he was not anymore. Enter James Gunn—Even before they approve the sequel’s script, the Star Wars director and co. vouched to rebrand the studios—and the Snyderverse dream ended with the turn of the year.

Well, this is what you may call a backstory to what we are here to discuss today: How the very first gig among the movies marking the onset of the post-DCEU era would look like? However, we do have some updates about the same (We know that you know that the new Superman will be younger and of any ethnicity).

Gunn has also revealed that his version of Clark Kent will have a “more light-hearted and fun take.”

Here’s what you can expect from Superman: Legacy

Certainly not, Henry Cavill. Per the director’s latest remarks, Gunn will touch upon more foreign elements of the comics. This means he aims to bring about a never before seen version of the Superhero, whose character, beneath the dark red and blue cape, will perhaps be driven by optimism and hope. Gunn’s ability to bring Guardians of the Galaxy to the mainstream and his ability to take out the best from constructive criticisms has fans excited to see what he has in store for the new Man of Steel.
