Meghan Markle Starrer ‘Suits’ Maintains Its Top Rank on the Nielsen Streaming Top 10, Confirming Its Lasting Appeal and Viewers’ Continued Interest
In the realm of legal dramas, Suits would be the first to come to mind. The American legal drama propelled the ever-magnetic Meghan Markle to the forefront in 2011 and has been shattering the US Netflix charts ever since. Even after the actress left the series in 2017, just a day after her engagement to Prince Harry, the American legal drama’s success continued.
The show has now added another significant feather to its cap by dominating the Neilson streaming ranking.

Even after twelve years, the Meghan Markle-starred Suits continues to gain accolades for its amazing concept of Harvey Specter’s decision to recruit an associate who never went to law school. This premise further added an extra dash of suspense to the legal drama with Mike Ross at the helm. According to Variety, after dethroning the crime drama Ozark, the series just topped the Nielson ratings with a viewership of 2.359 billion minutes. However, this was not the only popular show that made an appearance in the ratings.
The medical drama Grey’s Anatomy bagged second place. This drama is a frequent chart visitor due to frequent rewatching, although it witnessed a greater range of viewership from October 2 to October 8 of 1 billion watched minutes since 2020. The third place on the list went to the Jared Leto-starrer Haunted Mansion. The spooky horror comedy premiered on Disney+ on October 4 and has received 992 billion minutes of viewing time. Given that the film was already released in theaters in July, this is quite an accomplishment.
After the series finale of Suits in September 2019, fans have been left curious as to whether a season 10 is on the horizon. The creator of the show has now put these rumors to rest.

While Suits continues to dominate the Netflix rankings, one question is on everyone’s mind: whether or not there will be a season 10 of the popular legal drama. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in August, creator Aaron Korsh remarked that bringing back a new narrative for a program that has been adored by so many people would be a difficult task. He also mentioned how many people approach him and enquire, “What are Harvey and Mike up to in Seattle?” He regularly exclaims, “I don’t know!”
The series’ creator further stated that he was “very satisfied” with how season 9 finished. This has further cautioned him not to experiment with the series so that he is not “ashamed” of any of the episodes he has made. Toward the end of the interview, he also stated that if someone contacted him and the original cast was still interested in the show, he would “consider” it.
