Who could ever forget the show that brought the world, Millie Bobby Brown? Since it began, Stranger Things has garnered quite a huge fan following. It even became one of Netflix’s biggest shows. However, now after 5 seasons, the eerie series will be coming to an end. While the world might not be ready to say goodbye to some of their favorite characters, the stage play of Stranger Things: The First Shadow is sure to ease your mind.

Although the show is set to open on December 14th, the cast of new and familiar characters has not only given the world its first look at the play but also their thoughts on it.

Stranger Things on Stage shares first look

While the world might have to say goodbye to Millie Bobby Brown’s Eleven as she is ready to move on from the show, the upcoming play, Stranger Things: The First Shadow is a prequel to the original story. The play’s social media page recently shared the first look online, which sent fans into a frenzy. Now, with the release date inching closer, the actors have opened up to Entertainment Weekly about why they do not want to talk about the play yet.

Christopher Buckley, who was revealed to play Bob Newby in the play, said that he was “afraid” to say anything as he felt he would only “spoil it.” His sentiments were also shared by Isabella Pappas, who will be playing Joyce Maldondo, who said that the cast talking about things would “ruin the beginning of the show.” While that may mean fans might not know what they have in store, one thing is for sure, the production was said to be “absolutely insane.”

After the team recently revealed the name of the first act of the play, the hype for the series only ended up increasing further.

Stranger Things: The First Shadow Act 1

Just last month, it was revealed that the first act of the Stranger Things: The First Shadow play was titled, Chapter One: The Girl From Nowhere. While that might give fans a tinge of nostalgia as their brains whip around to Millie Bobby Brown’s role in the Netflix show, there is no way that her character would be here as the story is set to unravel way back in 1959.

With many well-known and new characters being brought to life in this prequel, there is no saying just what could end up happening. However, at least fans will finally get a glimpse at young Jim Hopper and Winona Ryder’s Joyce, who is one of the series’ leads.
