‘Stranger Things’ Star David Harbour All Smiles at NYC Bash With Chase Sui Wonders After Parting Ways With Wife
While Stranger Things has hooked the attention of viewers with updates on season 5, the star cast has also not fallen behind in the race. David Harbour, who plays the role of Jim Hopper in the horror drama, has been making headlines lately with talks about his personal life. Insider sources recently reported that the actor and his wife have been ‘living separate lives’ for months. Lily Allen, who married him in 2020, fanned these flames by unfollowing the Black Mass star on Instagram.
Now only days after that news, the American star showed up at the NYC bash without her, enjoying his time with Chase Sui Wonders.

David Harbour attended the Thom Browne’s 20th-anniversary dinner on Monday. The fashion bash took place in New York and he looked all cheered up, showed photos acquired by the Daily Mail. The actor partied with Chase Sui Wonders as one picture showed them taking a selfie together. While the 48-year-old had a great time with other attendees, his wife decided not to be a part of the event.
In 2020, the Emmy-nominated star joined hands with the luxury menswear brand as their model. Now showing off his barrier-breaking style, he turned up at the party in a black pleated skirt instead of pants over a white shirt and black coat. Harbour might be a masculine-man-type guy on-screen, but he advocates the re-examination of gender roles. “I just really like the skirt idea on a man,” he told GQ in 2021.
As of now, the Suicide Squad actor and other cast members are gearing up for their return on the sets of Stranger Things. In fact, two months back he teased fans about the ending of the show, calling it terrific.

In August, David Harbour appeared on an episode of the Happy Sad Confused podcast. During the conversation, the We Have A Ghost star expressed his excitement to dive back into the supernatural world of Hawkins. He revealed the creators will feature solid send-offs for major characters like Eleven, Hopper, Joyce, Will, and Mike.
“They’re going to pay them off in big ways because they’ve lived with you for the past eight years,” he explained. Earlier in the interview, he confirmed that the cast members have received the last season’s scripts. Like always, the Duffer Brothers apparently have done a great job and the season will be bigger than anything they did in the past. Recently, Shawn Levy shared updates on the shooting that they will begin soon after the SAG-AFTRA strike ends.
