The MCU sent the fans over the moon when it declared that it would bring Fantastic Four, its first family, in the year 2019. Ever since the news hit the headlines four years ago, Marvel fans have not been able to keep their calm. Netizens flooded the internet with various guesses regarding its casting while manifesting the release of this highly anticipated venture. Finally, we are receiving casting updates about this upcoming blockbuster and it seems like Fantastic Four is not too far from us. 

A popular Stranger Things actor’s name is now attached to the project after several casting rumors, and he is all set to make his debut in the MCU world!

In a new episode of The Hot Mic podcast, we got to know about the popular Stranger Things sensation who will be joining this venture with MCU. According to the podcast hosts, Joseph Quinn along with Vanessa Kirby will be entering the multiverse as Johnny Storm and Sue Storm, respectively. The 29-year-old actor, popularly known for his character Eddie Munson, has got the fans tapping their feet as they can’t help but wonder how this idiosyncratic leader of Hellfire Club is going to add to the legacy of Marvel.

Notably, there have been other casting updates as well, which are creating a buzz on Twitter. Some false rumors have also been circulating over the internet about the potential casting for the movie. The Boys’ Jack Quaid was associated with Fantastic Four, who later put up a tweet to address the rumors and confirmed that he is “Not playing” any roles in the movie. But with Quinn’s casting confirmed, casting rumors may become a thing of the past for this project.

As new updates for the cast, including Ebon Moss and even the popular Spanish actor and director Antonio Banderas, are circulating, it is safe to say that we are getting closer to knowing the actual hires for the movie. Even though we don’t have official updates from Marvel, it would be interesting to see these characters ace their roles, especially Quinn. There are many reasons why Quinn can be a perfect casting choice for Johnny Storm and will be a treat for all Marvel fanatics.

Joseph Quinn’s Eddie Munson and Upside Down concert remains a fan-favorite 

Quinn became an internet sensation as soon as the 4th season of Stranger Things aired. His rising to prominence after his stint in the sci-fi show could be one of the biggest reasons behind his securing a place in the MCU world. Eddie Munson, played by Quinn, was truly a breath of fresh air in season 4 and probably stood out the most among all the newly introduced characters.

Even though fans might not see him in the upcoming season, he will always be a memorable character of Stranger Things, all thanks to Quinn’s exceptional talent as an actor. Given his track record, he will likely have a similar impact as Johnny Storm.
