Back in 2017, Jennifer Aniston opened up about Friends in an interview with Vogue. Though it happened 13 years after the show ended, the world was still rewatching their favorite sitcom. The star was about how she felt about the series having such a huge impact that it has been passed down throughout the years. She said that she felt like she was “frozen in time” and that the whole thing was a “weird resurgence.”
“Girls come up to be thinking I’m still on the show!” exclaimed Aniston. She continued that she was “so proud” that the series, which started back in the mid-90s, could “still feel relatable” after over a decade. While the star seemed a little surprised by the massive love for the show, little would she have known that the show would be such a cultural phenomenon even in 2023.
Even though the world is still very much in love with Friends, the last time fans saw the entire cast together gave them some moments they cherish even to this day.

In 2021, the world got the one thing they had been waiting almost two decades for, and that was the Friends Reunion. 17 years after the show had ended, the gang got together for one last hurray. It was a night that was filled to the brim with emotion and stories from the days on set. While it was not the first time fans got to see the group hanging out after the show, it was the first time they had come together for an official reunion.
Fanatics definitely hoped the reunion to not be the only one. However, Courteney Cox, told fans that it was unlikely that the group would get together for something official again. Seems like what is needed is another rumor from Emily Blunt to make one more reunion happen in the coming years. Until then, fans can still see them all hanging out now and then through their posts on Instagram.
