Different shows yet the same destination? Netflix’s The Witcher deviated from the source material, which led the lead actor, Henry Cavill, to leave the show. However, he would be seen in the upcoming third season of the Netflix Original. Now, it seems Disney’s The Mandalorian is on the same path as The Witcher. 

Because the British actor was a huge fan of video games and books before becoming Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher, he could not tolerate the deviation from the source material. However, for two consecutive seasons, Pedro Pascal has been a lead Mandalorian in the Disney series, and it seems the third season will be different. As Giant Freakin Robot reported, Din Djarin will not be the only center of the upcoming season of the show.

The show is going to focus on Bo-Katan Kryze who will ultimately reunite Mandalorians. Although by making Bo-Katan the center of the series, the show makers are putting Pedro Pascal’s future in uncertainty. Fans cannot think about Din Djarin not being the center of the series. However, the director of the series officially announced this in his interview with IGN.

Fans cannot stop thinking about the similarity between Cavill’s situation and Pascal’s situation.

The show has portrayed the beautiful relationship between Pedro Pascal’s character and his relationship with Grogu. Now, the director revealed the title also refers to other Mandalorians as well. Therefore, in the upcoming season, the show is shifting its focus outside The Last of Us star. The Witcher, however, is moving towards the same destination as well.

While giving the heroic send-off to the 39-year-old actor in season 3, the show might deviate from the source material as well.
