After a rather tough year, Prince Harry might be getting his rewards soon. From his childhood, the royal has always been in the spotlight, but this year was by far not the best. From his fallout with Spotify to the drama with his family, the 39-year-old has not had it easy. Though it has been that way ever since the Duke left his royal responsibilities behind, 2023 brought a lot more scrutiny to the younger Prince.

The world was divided on how they felt about him and his royal struggles following the release of his memoir Spare in January this year. But now, it looks like it could have been one of Prince Harry’s best decisions, as it might be giving him a shot at a Grammy.

When the Duke of Sussex released his tell-all memoir, Spare, the world was sent into a frenzy. While some completely empathized with him, the rest of the world claimed it was a PR stunt. But now, nearly nine months later, Penguin Random House has revealed on X (formerly Twitter) the memoir’s audiobook for a Grammy Consideration from their end. They are hoping for the book to get recognized in the Best Audiobook, Narration, and Storytelling Recording category. The same category also saw names of audiobooks like Stella Maris and The Puttermesser Papers.

The revelation comes as no surprise as Spare recorded record sales on the day it came out. Much to the surprise, the book sold more than 1.43 million copies throughout the US, UK, and Canada. The numbers crossed any other non-fiction book released by the Penguin Random House. Despite resorts facing a problem with the copies of the same, getting this consideration is a tremendous feat.

This also aligns with what the Duchess predicted back when the memoir hit the shelves, becoming a medium further straining the royal relations.

Meghan Markle’s prediction is coming true

Back in January when the memoir was making its way to the shelves, Meghan Markle claimed that Prince Harry could end up winning a Grammy for his Spare audiobook. She believed that his voice was soothing and that his storytelling could captivate anyone. While many of her team members agreed with her, fans always thought it to be the doting wife supporting her husband.

With her prediction partially coming true, it is tough to deny that the Suits starlet may have been right all along. But with it just being a consideration at this point, supporters will have to wait and see if Prince Harry will get to take home a Grammy next year.
