In talks with Josh Horowitz on Happy Sad Confused, Matthew Vaughn shed light on how studios were working these days. He said commerce has overpowered creative because financing companies want to make money. Being that creative mind, he felt this strategy might be good for short-term profits. However, it falls short in terms of long-term accomplishments. According to him, creativity should always be the foundation in every field and not just the filming industry.

Upon this, the host asked if he ever got any notes from the studios that helped him improve his movies.
