“So I’m a huge…” – Sydney Sweeney Is a Massive Fan of This Co-star and It’s Not from ‘Euphoria’

Sydney Sweeney is at the peak of her career in Hollywood. With back-to-back hits, she has proved that she is a talented and versatile actress. However, even after gaining so much fame and doing collaborations with brands like Ford and Armani Beauty, she is still a regular girl from the inside. It makes sense because she had a huge crush on one of her co-stars, who is a female.
While a lot of people might guess that it could be someone from Euphoria as most of the cast was her age, however, it is someone who has nothing to do with the show. It is her co-star from her upcoming Marvel film, Madame Web, aka Dakota Johnson. The 25-year-old is totally captivated by her and has a huge crush on Johnson.

At the 11th annual LACMA Art + Film Gala last year, Sydney Sweeney shared that her collaboration with Dakota Johnson in Sony’s Madame Web was initially anxiety-inducing for her. She was scared of working with Johnson, as she is an established star and has worked in the industry for quite a while. And definitely having a crush on her would have made her nervous. The proof of this is when Sweeney shared with Variety in an interview last year, “So I’m a huge fan of her. She’s so hot.”
So much is her love for Johnson, she really wanted to watch 50 Shades of Grey when she was young. However, her parents did not allow her, but she anyway watched it.
In regard to the film, Madame Web, there were not many details revealed by Sweeney in the interview with Variety. With the film approaching its release date, however, the makers are slowly revealing the details.

The film is based on Marvel’s famous character Madame Web, which first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man comic. Johnson will play the lead role in the film, while Sweeney will play Spider-Woman. Apart from these two talented actresses, the film will also star Emma Roberts and Adam Scott.

The roles of Roberts and Scott have been kept secret yet. The release date of this film is set for February 16, 2024. It is directed by British Television Director SJ Clarkson, and Sony Pictures will have official distribution rights. Since there is still time until the film’s release, fans will have to wait even for a teaser.
