Sneaker Head Joe La Puma Asks for a Major Favor From Jimmy Fallon on ‘The Tonight Show’ Involving the Icon Jerry Seinfeld
Joe La Puma made his rise to fame with his love for sneakers. With his series, Sneaker Shopping, he has met quite a few celebrities in his time. From stars like KSI, DJ Khaled, Mark Cuban, and even the Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, he has had a lot of big names on his YouTube series with Complex Network.
With all his success, it seems that the 40-year-old has not got the one star he wants on the show, Jerry Seinfeld. In fact, he even called in a major favor from Jimmy Fallon on the host’s show recently.
Joe La Puma asks Jimmy Fallon for a major favor

Recently, the sneakerhead, Joe La Puma, went on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to talk about sneakers. The YouTube host went on to talk about how his love for sneakers started right in his childhood. He even revealed that his first job was at a “sneaker store” when he was 16, which made complete sense given his affinity for sneakers. However, it was not until the host slipped the iconic star, Jerry Seinfeld, into the conversation that Puma brought up his favor.
A bit into the conversation, Joe La Puma told Fallon that he needed to ask for a favor involving Seinfeld. He went on to say that the star had not been on his show yet and asked the host to put in a word for him. Not even seconds later, Fallon agreed as he looked directly at the camera, and said, “Jerry, you got to do Sneaker Shopping with Joe La Puma.”
While it was a little funny, the favor came as Jerry Seinfeld is known for his shoe collection. In fact, the star even wore some classics on the hit show, Seinfeld.

During the same interview, Jimmy Fallon recalled how when he was just starting with stand-up he wore Nikes just because Seinfeld had worn them on his 90s show. That is when Joe La Puma brought up the star’s iconic 90s sneaker collection. Jerry Seinfeld has been hailed as the sitcom-style king for years now, thanks to his sneakers. Throughout the show Seinfeld, fans could spot the star dazzling in various Nike classics.

In fact, over the 9 season series, the star had his sneakers being changed for another pair almost after every episode. According to a few reports, he wore over 50 pairs of Nike sneakers while he was on the comedy show. No wonder Joe La Puma wanted the iconic comedian on his show.
