Arnold Schwarzenegger made history when he became the Governor of California. The act proved to be a great help in reducing green gas emissions. While his term as governor has ended, his consciousness towards the climate has only grown. The act he signed to control green gas emissions laid the benchmark for other climate change policies. But the actor took things up a notch by starting a non-profit organization by the name of R20 Reigns of Climate Action in 2010. The organization was dedicated to combating climate change.
As the world finds itself closer to declaring another World War every year, Schwarzenegger stands as one of the most vocal members of the World War Zero initiative. However, his policies for combatting climate change have not been everyone’s cup of tea. And through his recent visit to the White House, he takes the initiative to work on policies that do not ruffle conservative values.
