Arnold Schwarzenegger made history when he became the Governor of California. Not only is he among the very rare of the lot that boasts dual Austrian-American citizenship, but he also became the first foreign-born Governor of California. As he went from being the hailed action star of Hollywood to the Governor of California, climate change formed the crux of his governorship.

The act proved to be a great help in reducing green gas emissions. While his term as governor has ended, his consciousness towards the climate has only grown. And this pursuit made Arnold Schwarzenegger sit in on a pivotal meeting at the White House regarding climate change.
