Well, when he starred in the DC movie Justice League in 2017, he faced a similar situation about his mustache. Apparently, when he was re-shooting the DC film, he had grown a mustache for his Mission Impossible feature. But Snyder’s Superman did not have a mustache.

Therefore, fans came together on the internet to reimagine Superman with a mustache. They edited pictures of the Enola Holmes actor in the Superman costume having a mustache. The reason Justice League‘s Clark Kent did not have a mustache was that the studio removed it with the help of CGI. However, the actor was not in favor of removing it.

Because Cavill was filming his movie with Tom Cruise, he had to grow a mustache for his character in the film. However, because it was a barrier in the DC character’s portrayal, DC spent $24 million on removing it. Unfortunately, this time, with his hairstyle drama, the filmmakers can do nothing about it.
