In a post on X (formerly Twitter), it was revealed that Henry Cavill had a mini-reunion with his team from 2018’s Mission: Impossible – Fallout. The actor met up with his co-star, Tom Cruise, and the director of the action-packed film, Christopher McQuarrie. While the stars had met for the first time in years, they were not alone as they strolled the streets of London.
They were joined by Cavill’s girlfriend, Natalie Viscuso, as well. After a brief walk through the city, the stars ended up heading to Oswald’s, a private member’s club, where they spent their night. The Man of Steel actor could be seen sporting Taylor Swift’s latest winter trend. He wore a long brown coat, checkered pants, and a navy shirt that made his blue eyes pop. Cruise also was dressed to the nines in a stunning navy suit with a pale blue shirt.
While they may have just been catching up and celebrating the 61-year-old’s upcoming Top Gun sequel, fans could not help but wonder if they had discussed the possibility of Cavill making his way back to the franchise.
Could Henry Cavill be in Mission: Impossible 8?
There is no doubt that Tom Cruise will always be the star of the Mission: Impossible franchise. However, since Henry Cavill joined the cast for one film back in 2018, fans have been hoping he would make a comeback. While nothing has been confirmed, the director of the films, Christopher McQuarrie shared that he was rewriting the script of the film just last year and even stated that any of the characters from the franchise could potentially be brought back.
