Jennifer Aniston has had wonderful friendships like the one she shares with Adam Sandler. She has also had revered love stories, the most notable one being with Brad Pitt. The only difference between her friendship and her love story was that the love story did not get a happy ending. After 5 years of staying married, Hollywood’s once-hot couple parted ways in 2005. Since then, the American diva went through a huge emotional turmoil only to become one of the most-loved A-listed artists.

Although the ex-couple wanted to move on in their lives after their divorce, Zach Galifianakis once reminded Aniston of Pitt in the most hilarious way.

While the Friends star had no interest in going down memory lane, the Hangover actor could not resist himself. In 2011, Jennifer Aniston and Tila Tequila appeared in Galifianakis’ Between Two Ferns. The host originally wanted to use Brad Pitt-double on the show to make the bit funnier. He shared the idea with the Cake star and she quickly expressed her distaste.

Galifianakis found a man who looked a lot like the Babylon star and wanted to use him in his comedy parody somehow. Nevertheless, from Aniston’s reaction to the idea, he understood the situation. He later recalled with US Weekly in 2011, “How rude of me to do that!” He called the man he had found and apologized, stating they would not be using him.

As funny as this idea sounded, the Primetime Emmy Award-winning actress’ appearance at the comedy skit was even funnier. Before Aniston entered, Galifianakis was talking to the former MTV reality star, Tila Tequila. As soon as the Cake star entered, they both treated her like she was an ordinary person. However, she went ahead with it for a brief period of time only to leave the bit by lashing out (jokingly) at the host.

Notably, when she appeared, she was supposed to talk about her then-upcoming film, Just Go With It, with one of her closest friends, Adam Sandler.

What is Just Go With It about?

Just Go With It is a rom-com released in 2011. It is about Danny (Adam Sandler) pretending to be married in order to enjoy no-strings-attached relationships. However, that changes when he meets Palmer, who is his dream girl. But things soon get complicated and instead of telling her the truth, Danny introduces Katherine Murphy (Jennifer Aniston), his assistant, as his ex-wife.

Although the film did not receive positive reviews from critics, it did well at the Box Office. It is available on Netflix until the 30th of October. Despite the film lacklustre run, it certainly did not affect the friendship between these two actors, who have been closest friends for more than two decades. Having friends like him around would make anyone forget about the painful past.
