While the entire family is known to indulge in existential debates over their Red Table Talk show, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s daughter loves taking it one step further. She often takes to her social media pages to highlight things she believes in. Especially her ideologies on life and principles to live by.

Sometimes, she even ventures into the absurd realm of aliens and hypothetical scenarios, much to her followers’ amusement. And her latest share has achieved the same but in a somewhat hypocritical fashion. 

Willow Smith thinks people should ditch their financial worries

Earlier today, Willow Smith shared a post by a financial expert to her Instagram story that questioned the need for finances in the first place. The user argued that God did not intend humans to worry about “credit scores, taxes, sick hours and vacation time” while on Earth. This could easily be misconstrued as a wealthy celebrity preaching being carefree about money.

Like the wild scenario about aliens that she shared last month, this scenario seems just as unlikely to occur anytime soon. While some may agree with the ‘Whip My Hair’ singer, others might find her story a tad insensitive. 

Besides this thought-provoking share, the 22-year-old also shared some that were more motivational in nature. Including some wise words from the iconic novelist James Baldwin.

James Baldwin and Victor Frankl’s quotes grace Smith’s stories

For her 11 million followers on Instagram, Willow Smith also had some inspiring words to share. One of her stories featured James Baldwin’s contemplations on the nature of life. Another one by Naguib Mahfouz delved into concepts of what makes or does not make a home. Also, Viktor Frankl’s thoughts on what constitutes freedom of mind graced the lineup.

Clearly, Smith wants to maintain her streak of spreading motivation amidst the masses that look up to her as she has been doing for long. Regardless of what they are about, her posts always strike a chord with independent thinkers like herself.
